AMPUTATIONS & RSD / CRPS
It is well known that the indication for amputation in RSD / CRPS is rare, except in life-threatening infections. Open skin ulcers are a known complication of RSD / CRPS. Skin ulcers increase the risk of severe infections leading to life-threatening septicemia requiring amputations. Blair Webber (above) is the third patient to demonstrate resolution of open skin ulcers following the 5-day ketamine coma procedure.
